Our Inspiration

Isaiah 35 says, "The desert shall rejoice, and blossom as the rose. It shall blossom abundantly, and rejoice even with joy and singing...they shall see the glory of the Lord, and the excellency of our God. Strengthen ye the weak hands, and confirm the feeble knees. Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not."

As homeschoolers, we are working to help our children blossom like roses, right here in our little corner of the desert. We also want to help our community blossom by "strengthening", "confirming", and encouraging each other in our efforts.

God promises that as we do this "the parched ground shall become a pool, and the thirsty land springs of water...for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert...the redeemed shall walk there...with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away."

We hope this Homeschool Resource Center will become a place of joy and gladness for families in Southern Utah. As we continue to cultivate our "blossoms", our influence will spread from our children and our families, to our community and beyond - just as a spring over a parched land.
