How to Make it Happen?
We will generate revenue from the membership dues paid by homeschool families who want use of the classes, community garden, resource library, and other programs we offer.
We will receive building rental rental fees from homeschool groups who contract with us to use the building on a regular basis.
As a non-profit, we also rely on volunteer-led fundraising efforts and events.
As homeschooling continues to grow in the area, the numbers of families wishing to utilize the resource center may necessitate opening additional locations. Different locations could have different offerings, such as a kitchen for culinary classes, a stage for productions, a technology center, and workshops for automotive or woodworking classes, etc.
We could also expand to offer educational travel opportunities for members as interest dictates.
We are looking to establish a resource center created and supported by the people who need it: our homeschool community! What a wonderful homeschool community we already have...let's make a place for it to thrive.
